Biography:

Dr. Ahmed is working as Associate Professor of Humanities at COMSATS University Islamabad. He was awarded the overseas scholarship for higher education (Master and Ph.D.) in 2008 from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. In 2009 he completed his Masters in Applied Linguistics and later on, in 2013, he received his Ph.D. degree from UFR Lettres et Langages University of Nantes, France. Dr. Ahmed joined Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in 2013 as Assistant Professor. Later on, in 2016, he joined COMSATS University. In October 2017, Dr. Fasih was appointed as Head Department of Humanities. He served as the Head of the Department for four years. He has taught and researched in Applied Linguistics (English Language Teaching, Ecolinguistics, Forensic Linguistics, Academic Research Writing). He has published (28 Publications) in international journals as well as conference proceedings. He has extensive experience of teaching at all levels.
