Ayesha Latif as a lecturer in the department of Humanities teaches poetry modules to the undergraduate BS ENG program students. Alongside, Ms. Latif is a working research scholar on the Punjabi Sufi poets of the early modern era; she is enrolled as a PhD student in the Institute of English Studies at the University of the Punjab in Lahore. She is interested in a diverse range of academic subjects which include the Punjabi regional literature; literary translations of poetic texts ; the early modern South Asian orature . When not teaching or reading, she can be found trekking the Margalla hills with a bunch of wildlife conservationists, or else chatting and wrangling with some local poets or desi- feminists.
