Biography:

Ajmal Khan received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar in 2007 and 2010 respectively. He received his PhD in Electronics Engineering from Kyungpook National University, Korea in 2014. From 2008 to 2011, he was lecturer at UET, Peshawar. From September 2014 to January 2016, he had been at the IQRA National University, Pakistan, as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department. Since February 2016, he is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Attock Campus, Pakistan. He has published a substantial number of technical papers in well-known international journals and conferences in the area of intelligent information and communication technology (IICT), specifically in the fields of vehicular communications and networking, design and analysis of network protocols, Unmanned air vehicles (UAV), the Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless sensor networks (WSN), Disaster Management and AI/ machine learning. He was a recipient of the UET Merit Scholarship and Kyungpook Honor Scholarship to pursue his MS and PhD degree from UET Peshawar and Kyungpook National University, Korea respectively.
