Biography:

Dr. Nadia Nawaz Qadri is presently working as Associate Professor and Program Co-coordinator Electrical Engineering Programs at CIIT, Wah Campus. Dr. Nadia was awarded with her PhD (Electronics Systems Engineering) in 2010 at University of Essex, UK. She received her M.E (Communication Systems and Networks) and B.E (Computer Systems), from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan in 2004 and 2002, respectively. She has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience at renowned universities of Pakistan. She is leading a research group “Multimedia Wireless Networks and Technology” at CIIT. Dr. Nadia has published around 44 publications including 20 reputed international journal papers, 9 international conference papers, 12 book chapters in international books and filed 2 U.S Patents. She also published a book titled “Streaming Media with Peer-to-Peer Networks: Wireless Perspectives”. Dr. Nadia received research funding worth Rs. 0.1 million from CIIT research fund as PI. She also received research funding for two research project from HEC worth 0.5 million each as Co-PI. Recently, She received a research funding from NESCOM worth 0.1 million. In addition to that, she has been in the program committee/review committee of more than forty reputed international conferences and reviewer of various Journals of Springer, Elsevier, and IEEE transactions. She is professional member of IEEE and PEC. Her research interests include video streaming, mobile ad hoc networks and vehicular ad hoc networks, P2P Networks, wireless sensor networks, Video and Image Processing, 4G and 5G Communication, Smart Grid, Internet of Things, Multicore Reconfigurable Architectures.
