Biography:

Dr. Khuram Shafi, a dynamic academician has a multidisciplinary background in Business Administration, Financial Markets, Derivative Market, and China Pakistan Economic corridor (CPEC). Dr. Shafi have completed his PhD degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in Business Administration under Chinese Government Scholarship with 60+ Internationally recognized Research Journal publications and 2 Books; prior to this he has MBA from CUI and MS degree from International Islamic University Islamabad with distinction of Gold Medals. Dr. Shafi won research grant from the HEC-Pakistan under Startup research grant (SRG) program titled “Motivations of China`s FDI in Pakistan; A CPEC Perspective” in 2015. Another Grant he won in 2017 from the HEC-Pakistan under Thematic research Grant (TRG) program titled under “Adoption of Cloud based e government System: LRMIS for social Development. As for as professional experience concerned he served COMSATS University Islamabad since 2005 (16+ years teaching & research experience). Teaching has been one of the most rewarding experiences in his academic life and on a lighter note it has kept me young and lively. He fully committed to this core responsibility. He enjoys engaging with students to help them learn the various concepts and tools within the field of Business. Beyond equipping them with knowledge, however, His hope to simultaneously impart a clear vision of when and how this knowledge can be applied to address real issues. He feel this goal can be best realized by ensuring that the lessons foster intuitive insight, that the assessments stimulate independent thinking, and that the learning environment nurtures questioning and collaboration. If these factors are in place, He is optimistic that students would come to appreciate the value of Business, Finance and be inspired to further their studies in this field.
