Dr. Fazeelat Karamat is working currently as Assistant Professor at the COMSATS institute of information technology,Islamabad. She was awarded the overseas scholarship to pursue her master and PhD studies in France by HEC, Pakistan. She has expertise in the field of Plant molecular biology, biotechnology and enzymology which she has gained through her master and phd research. She is interested in exploring the bio-synthetic pathway of secondary metabolites of plants that play pivotal role in their defense mechanisms and capability of adaption to changing environment.She has taught the undergraduate courses and supervised the research of BS and MS level.
