Biography:

Dr. Mudassar Rashid Khawaja is an Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, specializing in econometrics, applied economics, and health economics. He earned his Ph.D. in Econometrics from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, in 2014.Dr. Khawaja has a robust teaching portfolio, offering courses like Applied Econometrics, Statistics for Economists, and Time Series Methods. He has supervised numerous MS and Ph.D. students and is an active researcher with publications in leading journals on topics such as climate change, energy productivity, and economic growth. He is a member of several academic bodies, including The Econometric Society, and serves on editorial boards for journals like PLOS ONE and the Kashmir Economic Review. His contributions to academia are complemented by his involvement in various institutional committees at COMSATS University. Dr. Khawaja’s dedication to research, teaching, and service has made him a respected figure in the field of economics, both nationally and internationally.
