Dr. RASHID JAHANGIR received the bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan, master’s degree from University of New South Wales, UNSW, Sydney, Australia and the Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has been Assistant Professor with the COMSATS University Islamabad, Vehari Campus, Pakistan, since 2014. He worked as a software engineer in software house in Lahore for two years. He has vast experience in teaching and research. He has also published several articles in academic journals indexed in well-reputed databases, such as ISI and Scopus. He is working on digital signal processing and deep learning. The key research areas of his interest are: deep learning, pattern recognition, machine learning and data mining.
