Biography:

Shagufta Parveen is performing her duty as Assistant professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, since 2015. Her area of specialization is Finance. She has done her MPhil from Foundation University New Lalazar Rawalpindi and MBA (Finance) from Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi.  She is working with academia since 2009 as permanent faculty member. Previously she has worked in HITEC university Taxila Cantt from 2009-2015 and after leaving HITEC she immediate joined COMSATS University Islamabad in February 2015 and serving till date. 
 She has published several research papers in reputable HEC recognized international and national journals and more are in publication and review process. She has taught courses of general management, accounting and finance field. She has also supervised MS level Thesis in area of Finance. She is also active in administrative duties at department level. She has worked as Departmental operating officer and currently working as coordinator (BS Accounting & Finance) along with teaching. She is also member of different campus level and departmental committees including NBEAC, CSR, DARC, Convocation, MS thesis evaluation committee. She is an active member of department and organizes seminars, workshops with accounting bodies like ACCA.
