Biography:

Biography: Dr. Faisal Shahzad (Assistant Professor) is based at the Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus. He obtained his PhD Degree from AIR University Islamabad. He has working experience of NCHD as a literacy coordinator. He joined CUI Attock Campus as a Lecturer in August 2007. He has been in Management/ Finance Group and has been teaching Investment and Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, Seminar in Finance, Issues in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Corporate Governance, Financial Theory and Practices, Financial Accounting. He also performed the duties of Program Coordiator from 2008 to 2011. Recently he is also performing the duties of Convener Extra Curricular Activities of CUI Attock Campus. 
Research: His research interests are in the areas of corporate finance and corporate governance. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals as Managerial Finance, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, International Journal of Emerging Markets, International Journal of Finance & Economics, Borsa Istanbul Review, International Journal of Accounting & Information Management. Shahzad has teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate level and act also an HEC recognized supervisor. He also worked as a reviewer in international peer-reviewed journals as Accounting and Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, International Journal of Emerging Markets, social responsibility journal, and International Journal of Accounting & Information Management.
