Dr. Muhammad Nadeem Cheema received his BS Degree from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2012, and MS Degree from COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock, Pakistan in 2015, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China in 2021. He is currently working as a Ph.D. faculty of COMSATS University Islamabad Attock Campus and engaged with the medical image processing research group. As an active key member of the MIP research group, he is in charge of research commercialization and industry links. He has produced a number of impact publications in top-ranked specialized SCI journals, IEEE Transactions, JBI journal, etc., and received several prestigious outcomes like featured articles in IEEE TBME.
During his Ph.D. studies in china, Dr. Nadeem joined a professional and international research company named KEYIN research laboratory in china as an experienced researcher for several national and international level research collaborations. Dr. Nadeem had the privilege to take a number of major responsibilities during his stay in the laboratory in project management and research coordination, as well as visits to the partnering institutions. When at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University he has also taken several key responsibilities in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching as a teaching associate for a number of MPhil and undergraduate courses.
He is a reviewer for several leading journals in his field, i.e., Journal of Visual Computing, IEEE Transactions, and many more. He has been involved in organizing and maintaining three renowned journals IET Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (IEEE TCSVT), and The Visual Computer Journal (TVCJ) as an associate editor.
