Biography:

Dr. Javeed is working as Tenured Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Since 2022. He has joined the Department as Assistant Professor in June 2014. He is working on organic agriculture, plant nutritional management, Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi, soil carbon sequestration, biochar interaction, soil microbiology and plant stress management for sustainable food security. Moreover, He is also emphasizing his research activities on environmental plant physiology, soil-plant-microbial interaction, environmental interaction with environmental parameters  (temperature, drought, salinity and minerals), photooxidative stresses, phyto-cellular interactions and nutrient management under stress condition. His research studies are based on the greenhouse, nutrient solutions, and field studies. He is also working on two national-level research projects funded by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan and has completed three small national research grants. The outcome of his research is to develop the cost effective techniques for sustainable agro-ecosystem for the betterment of mankind. Moreover, I love to collaborate with the other scientists with similar research background.
