Biography:

Dr. Muhammad Raza is  working as an Associate Professor (Tenured) in Department of Mathematics, at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Sahiwal Campus. He obtained his master and PhD degrees from CASPAM, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. He was funded for his Master and PhD by HEC Pakistan under Indigenous scholarship program. During his PhD studies, he conducted research on theoretical study of Patch Antennas  He was awarded prestigious research fellowship for his post doctorate at the Zhejiang University Hangzhou, China, where he conducted research on Invisibility Cloaking. He has taught at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad.

He is supervising MS students at CUI in the fields of Invisibility Cloaking and Numerical Analysis. Dr. Raza is currently Tenured Associate Professor of Mathematics at CUI Sahiwal Campus. He has served as Incharge Academics from February 2021 to March 2024 and has served in the capacity of Head of Mathematics Department from November 2017 to January 2021. He has also convened keynote committees at Campus level. He regularly reviews International Journal papers. He has research collaborations with Zhejiang University Hangzhou China, Karazin Kharkov National University Ukraine,  North Dakota State University USA, Eurasian International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Kazakhstan,  King Saud University, KSA and etc.

Dr. Raza's research interests include development of Patch Antennas, Invisibility Cloaking, Numerical Analysis and Cosmology. He is supervising MS students in the field of Numerical Analysis, Bifunctional Cloaking and Metamaterials based PINN using Neural Networks.
