The feasibility for the provision of safe drinking water supply to one of the sectors of Islamabad with the following objectives:
1. To digitize the mapping of existing water supply distribution network of one of the sectors of Islamabad (I-8) by using GIS technology.
2. To study the feasibility and conduct cost-benefit analysis for implementation of water metering and pricing and provision of safe drinking water as a model in the study area.
3. To study the requirement / construction of water distribution system in order to supply treated water efficiently from existing and proposed water treatment plans to the entire study area.
4. To arrange awareness sessions among the community including mosques, schools and community centers via seminars/ brochures/pamphlets regarding water conservation in Pakistan and member countries like Egypt and Nigeria through partners / collaborators.
