Report on the Inter-Departmental Qira’at/Na’at Competition held by Campus Art and Literary Society
As part of a series of extracurricular activities planned for the current semester i.e., Spring 2016, Campus Art and Literary Society, CIIT, Attock organized the Inter-Departmental Qira’at/Na’at Competition on Feb 24, 2016 (Wednesday).  The event was marked with religious fervor and enthusiasm exhibited by participating students, attending students and the faculty alike. Students from all the four departments participated in the event and tried to give their best. 
The chief guests/ judges of this competition were:

Mr. Mufti Abdul Wahid (MS-Dept)

Hafiz Muhammad Masood formally opened the competition with recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran. The event served to rekindle love of the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the hearts of the attendees. The performances were so close that at one point the judges got perplexed as to deciding on the positions of the participants. At the end the result was announced and certificates were distributed by the judges among top three position holders.
