The vision of Department of Biosciences CUI Sahiwal campus is based on the global visualization where such programs are adopted that equally involves participation of consumers and producers. The Department of Biosciences at CUI Sahiwal campus was established in July 2008. Since then the department is striving to gain excellence in academic programs.

Message from the HOD

The Department of Biosciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal campus was established in 2008. It provides a rich environment for nurturing the nation with excellence in education and research in Computational Biology, Genomics, Food Science, Food Technology and Agricultural Sciences. It offers strong, vibrant, and well-supported BS/MS degree programs such as BS Bioinformatics and BS Food Science and Nutrition and MS Biosciences. The department has highly qualified, well trained, well-equipped with modern skills and professional faculty.
