Seminar - Current Needs Of Kashmir Issue

A Seminar on “Current Needs of Kashmir Issue” was organized by the Kashmir Chapter of CUI Wah Campus on December 15, 2022. Mr. Israr Ayub, Knowledge Management Consultant and Asian Development Bank Regional coordinator was the resource person of the seminar. Students/faculty from all departments enthusiastically participated in it. The purpose of this seminar was to create more awareness on the backgrounds and current developments on the situation and conflict in Kashmir and what we need now to help our Kashmiri brothers and Sisters in their struggle for their right of self-determination.

Speaker reaffirms the fundamental right of freedom of the people of the occupied Jammu & Kashmir, their sovereignty, international dimension of Kashmir conflict and his perspective to resolve the conflict. The speaker addressed bringing youth to focus on respective fields to strengthen our beloved country.

A very fruitful question/answer session was also held to clear the misinterpretation on Jammu & Kashmir conflict. To pay tribute to the Kashmiri people for their sacrifices, Kashmir Chapter in collaboration with Dramatics Club of COMSATS University, Wah Campus presented a skit. The students showed a small picture of Indian brutality, sacrifices of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters and torture on innocent people.

The seminar was concluded by presenting a university souvenir to the guest speaker with a vote of thanks by the Head, Management Sciences Department.
