About | I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Japan in the department of Asia Pacific Studies, and my major is AI and human interactions. I'm specifically working with school settings and the prefectural government to incorporate English language in Japanese early-year schools to help them improve their English language skills because of the shortage of native English language teachers. Having 6 years of experience in teaching young learners in Pakistan and now in Japan, I have a full understanding of engagements and interaction issues in learning English as a second language. We are working to develop a chatbot that will engage with young learners in improving their vocabulary and pronunciation skills, along with gamification features to keep their interest while interaction. I am planning to introduce the chatbot in Pakistan's early schools after completing my research. |
