CIIT has launched a rehabilitation program -“Adopt a Family“- for the Flood Victims in Pakistan. The objective of this program is to help the victims by establishing a strong and deep affiliation bond between the victim and the donor family.

The campaign starting from September 2010 will continue till June 2011. The faculty and staff members of COMSATS will themselves sponsor the activity and in addition can create other sponsors as well. Each sponsor will be expected to arrange Rs 10,000 per month to be provided to each adopted family for a period of ten months.

In addition to the monetary support the sponsors can support the sufferers in

• seeking a job.
• repairing/rebuilding their homes
• helping their children to get admission in a school/college/university
• etc.
