Biography:

Dr Maria Kanwal is currently working as Assistant Professor/Head of Department at the Department of Civil Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus, Pakistan. She holds a PhD degree in Structural Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Her research interests are self-healing concrete, bio-inspired concrete, corrosion in reinforced concrete elements, development of sustainable construction materials, and utilization of nano materials in cementitious composites.
