The Department of Mechanical Engineering/ ASHRAE Student Chapter, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Wah Campus organized an online 1st Knowledge Competition on HVACR held on July 11, 2020. The aim of events was to enhance student's Presentation Skills, Engineering Knowledge and to develop HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air. Conditioning), technical skills. Students from various universities participated in the competition.

The honorable Judges, President ASHRAE Northern Chapter, Pakistan, Mr. Ather Naseem Siddiqui, Senior Member ASHRAE Northern Chapter, Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Riaz Baig and Lecturer, CUI Wah Campus Engr. Abuzar Jamil evaluated students according to their presentation skills and technical knowledge on HVAC equipment. First position in the competition was awarded to the students of CUI Wah Campus and NUST respectively and second and third positions were awarded to the students of CUI Wah Campus.

The judges shared their valuable experience with students to reveal technical concepts in their closing remarks. The Head ASHRAE Student Chapter, CUI Wah Campus, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid presented vote of thanks to participants, distinguished guests and showed keen interest in arranging such online activities in future.
