The Department of Mechanical Engineering, ASME CUI Wah Chapter team participated in ASME International Engineering Festival EFx 2023 organized by UET Peshawar from March 11-12, 2023. The event consisted of seminars, different competitions, and cultural events.

Mr. Danish Shahid, Vice president of ASME CUI wah along with two other students of the final semester Mr. Ahmed Usman and Mr. Muhammad Suleman Butt participated in the Elevator Pitch Competition.

Mr. Danish Shahid presented his initiative and idea to recycle plastic bags (LDPE) to reduce CO2 emissions released during plastic production and to get rid of plastic waste. He successfully secured 2nd position in the competition and won a cash prize of 100$.
