A Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Electrical Engineering, CIIT Wah Campus for a period of six months under the HEC Startup Research Grant titled “Hyperspectral Image Analysis”.The students with BS Degree in Electrical Engineering having minimum CGPA 3.0 and currently Enrolled in MS program in Electrical Engineering Department, CIIT Wahare eligible to apply.

Responsibilities/Expertise: The selected candidate will carry out research in the area of Computer Vision to investigate state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques for analyzing hyperspectral images. The focus will be on automatic feature learning for the task of hyperspectral image classification. The successful candidate will benefit from excellent computing resources to produce and disseminate original research contributions.

Benefits: Fixed honorarium of Rs. 10,000/- per month from project budget for a period of six months.
