The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the apex regulatory body of capital markets and corporate sector, has advertised the following job openings in its Information System and Technology Division (IS&TD) on a regular basis:

1. Deputy Director/Principal System Engineer (Application Deadline: May 19, 2025)

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electrical/ Telecom or related discipline from a HEC-recognized reputable university. Preferably certified in Systems, Microsoft Technologies, VMware, and ITIL
• Minimum 06 years of post-qualification experience in the Systems domain, IT Infrastructure services management and support.
• Maximum age should not exceed 40 years on the last date of submission of the application.

(Candidates who have at least 3 years' experience working with a regulator will be given age relaxation of 5 years).

1. Assistant Director, Database Administration (Application Deadline: May 26, 2025)

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology /Computer Engineering from a HEC-recognized university/institute.
• 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• The maximum age should not exceed 35 years on the last date of submission of the application. (Candidates who have at least 3 years' experience working with a regulator will be given age relaxation of 5 years).
